Great to read. TBH, wasn't a big fan of his pitching,  but he seems like a great guy. Looks to help teammates. Is admired by all of them, and seems like a great family man. So happy for him and hi family and friends the scary part seems to have passed. Great job by all the medical people, from those who first helped him to those caring for him in the hospital.  Maybe this will put a little spark into the team.

Can definitely see him being part of coaching or a front office in the future. Dude studies the analytics side of the game like few pitchers do.

MLB network's morning show MLB Central had a segment about 15-20 minutes on Danny that was done by Matt Yaloff who also had a stroke . Matt was talking to Danny about what he remembers , about pitching again, his wife, the doctors at the hospital, Herm Schneider , Nate Jones and others about everything from Danny pitching that night to where he is right now.

Just a great inspiring segment and I highly recommend keeping an eye on MLB Networks website or twitter to see when they post it.

Just a little preview on where he is pitching wise. He hit 90 in a practice condition , not on a mound and he said he had never done that before.

CSN has been running a good interview by Chuck Garfien talking about a lot of the same stuff.  Crazy how lucky this guy is.
