The human action, shockingly...was pedestrian, but the action sequences really make up for it. One of those movies you score 3 1/2 out of 5, but entertaining and so much better than the last Godzilla reboot. The focus of Pacific Rim is the humans existing with those Kaiju, the focus of GvK is the Kaiju.
