LaRussa is trolling the fans at this point, isn’t he?  There can’t be a reasonable explanation for Garcia hitting third.

Came just to say this exact thing.

TLR has it in his head that bad lefties are better than good righties vs RHP.

Then can you explain Sheets (basically zero OF experience) in the more difficult corner position (RF) and Haseley (good OF defender) in the "stash Eloy out there" position?

Imagine wasting your championship window hiring a crusty old drunk manager that throws consistent games away...  This is indefensible.

Everyone (except Reinsdorf) knew this was a horrendous hire. He is going to fuck this window we have.

Don’t forget he also played a huge role in the horrible, horrible offseason acquisitions

I think the outfield is more that Vaughn played 2 games yesterday and Jimenez is still too sore to play.

We need to avoid double headers at all costs because 1 DH will basically mean we punt the series. It’s obvious what TLR DH philosophy is and it’s not one that promotes in on field success.

This is going to sound like I'm joking but I'm seriously not.

Someone needs to check and see if there are unusually large bets getting placed against the Sox BEFORE the lineup gets posted.

We couldn't be so lucky.
