Menechino is immovable force

Even if they bring in a new hitting coach, do people really expect them to drastically change their approaches in the span of like 1 - 1.5 months? The time to change was two months ago, this team is what it is. This off season they all need to be working every day with their conditioning, defense, and at bat approaches instead of coming into the season looking like a clown show .

He should have been fired after the Astros series. 16 singles before an XBH that series was foreshadowing into the shitshow we have had to deal with today.

Its to protect his "image" when it doesnt happen. "The org decided to just wait until the offseason" will be the next tweet when Frank is in the dugout in KC.

Probably, but I was more laughing at the org and their inability to cut ties with this guy.

Footlong is so full of it. He keeps his job  if the Sox light up a guy with an ERA over 6.00. He is replaced if not. How much sense does that make?

The White Sox win when they hit home runs. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what they need to focus on

TLR is a genius, and he says they just want them to focus on taking good atbats. Are you a hall of famer? Didnt think so.

If you followed Footlong’s tweets, it took about four or five to realize how full of shit he is.  But his strategy make sense.  Make a dart throw on something and if you’re right all of the sudden everyone things you’re legit.  Miss and all you do is fold up the account and try again under another food-based handle.  That’s the same strategy that Orlando used with the Al’s Cheesy Beef account and worked until he outed himself.  I wouldn’t be surprised if this is simply another Orlando account given his pathetic need for attention.

When zero change came at the ASB we should have all recognised that nothing would change until the off-season, if that.  What should and needs to be done and what the FO actually does never correlates much.

What a waste of a twitter feed.

I'd pay a premium for a curated "Twitter-like" service. Currently it's like whack a mole.

There is zero reason for him to be around. Results matter and they have been putrid. Start setting a standard Chicago and start running yourself like a first class org vs the half ass org you are. Cheap ass Sox - under spend in all areas. I get having a lower payroll (not that there’s is low) but not having first class baseball ops and true depth of staffing, scouts, nutrional and development stuff is just piss poor. So far from being a world class org.

Do we really believe that Tony, Rick, Kenny etc just allow him to coach whatever philosophy and approach *he* wants? Position coaches get their marching orders from someone. At the least, this is as much  Tony's fault as Menechino.

Oh 100% TLR is on board with Menechino's approach. There are plenty of quotes from TLR saying they just want to focus on good atbats and not think about the home run. Both need to go. Rumor is TLR has a lot of power when it comes to decisions, its possible hes vouching for Menechino to Jerry.
