GT 8/3: Outfielders? We don't need no stinking outfielders!

Part of the reason Harrison has only hit .240 this season is that his line drive rate is down by about 8%. Mostly replaced by ground balls. No one is safe from ground ball mania once they come to the Sox.

This Sox team is the definite proof that batting average is a useless stat.

This should be a laugher at this point.

12 hits - 11 singles

If they were actually fast, it wouldn't be as much of an issue. I've never seen a team hit this many singles yet have so many slow ass players.

Well this is the first season he's faced AL pitching.

He only has 27 RBI's, I don't think he's close to being the best clutch hitter on this team.

Highest wRC+ and OPS on the team, both by considerable margins, with RISP this season

Bring Burger up.  Start him at 3B.  Let Yoan come in late in the game for defense.  When Yoan starts hitting again gradually increase his playing time.  If he's gets back to what he's supposed to be Moncada wins his starting job back and everyone is happy.

Choosing between Burger's glove or Yoan's bat is some legit pick your poison stuff.

That wouldn’t make that much of a difference though.

Putting the ball in play and hitting the other way would be WSI‘s (RIP) collective dream come through tho 😆

Hmm Stoney started talking about what they found about Robert. Vitamin deficiency .. then cut off by the Engel out.

There was some reporting on this the other day. It was a combination of a virus and vitamin deficiency. That was about the extent of what was said.

They'd actually be able to go from 1st to 3rd and score easily on singles with a guy on 2nd. Those 2 things are challenges for the Sox.

Isbel was playing Abreu so deep earlier and Vaughn didn’t even think of trying to score
