Another Timmy grounder to the left side.  Dunning could easily be throwing a no-hitter.  This is the worst offensive game of the season.

Yep the lineup with Grandal hitting in the 2 hole with the way Timmy has been struggling is a TLR special….makes zero sense to have him batting that high

So this pitcher grew up in your organization and you have no clue with any kind of an approach against him

If this is not on the hitting coach then what is??????????

No homers = no come backs.

If Grandal or Moncada could hit the way they have hit in any of the good years they have had, this team would be incrementally better. They might even hit more home runs.

It was literally 32 hours ago where Stoney said it’s a sprint now and Grandal needs to lose playing time.  Apparently that means move up in the order.

How does the FO sit back and watch the last 3 games including today and not realize there is a problem with the approach at the plate with this team??!!

How???

Unless they don't give a shit

Thing that sucks is it’s too late to make an impactful change. I’m sure even if Frank got fired, it would just be someone who shares his philosophy.

They know, they will just wait until the offseason to "address" it. That means promoting Frank and TLR to FO positions.

How have they watched this team all season and not realized their approach at the plate is dogshit? Screw the last 3 games. This has been a season long issue

If TLR didn’t have a new lineup every game, maybe they would be incrementally better. He can claim he is following the data to make different decisions but sometimes consistency is a good thing.

Don’t be fooled TLR doesn’t look at data. Just look at the “statistics” he used in his intentional walk approach versus the Dodgers

Yeah it’s an organizational issue, nothing will change this off season either

The one thing that has become increasinly frustrating is the inability to have the same guys in the lineup every day. Its a constant handicap. Honestly theres no reason that Robert, Harrison, and Savala shouldnt be in the lineup today. The constant substituion and lineup movement seems to constantly taking any chance of anyone getting in a sustained rhythm at the plate. Until the same guys are playing every day in the same spot, this lineup will never have any consistent at bats.

You are right , you should come back with the lineup that won you a game last night.  I was surprised to hear on the broadcast tonight that Semien played in all 162 games last year, and we are not just talking about Cal Ripken Jr., but TLR needs to rest our guys continually.  He may be getting them ready for early golf season the way things are going.
