8/19 Gamethread: White Sox vs. The Artist Formerly Known As The I****ns, Lynn vs. McKenzie

I hate that chest high catch Eloy does. Why have your glove vertical  on a high fly when you can have it higher up and tilted back and catch it head high ? If he ever drops one catching it at his chest I'll be screaming at my TV lol.

How many times does Grandal swing and miss though?  Run the risk of running out of inning or getting Moncada hurt.

The chance of Grandal hitting into a double play is higher IMO. At any rate, Sheets should have been the DH instead of Grandal against the righty pitcher. He has been our best hitter lately.  TLR roster construction continues to be bad.

Josh was in the shift way back on the grass. This isn't rocket science. Lynn is supposed to cover 1st every ball hit to the right side and especially when the 2nd baseman is playing on the OF grass in a shift. On the replay you can see Lynn hesitated on covering. Things are different in that kind of shift.

I don’t know, but the looks of the replay, in my very humble opinion that looked like Joshes ball. Let’s just agree to disagree. No harm done anyway except for Lynne having to throw a few extra pitches.

If Grandal isn’t catching he should never be in lineup at DH or 1B. I can’t stand him.

And we leave our hottest hitter Sheets grabbing some bench instead.  That is TLR ball for  you.

14 are not a few extra.
