Most of the space around Gate 5 has been fenced off and torn up since the season ended but hard to see anything being built outside in a few months. Unless they have plans to expand it after this season, it seems completely pointless, because like you said, 8 people can watch shoulder to shoulder? There’s like 10 standing room spots that get snapped up right when gates open and then the rest of the bar area is inside and you can’t see the game. I don't think these will get snatched up as fast most nights. It's not a location upgrade for most. And for those it is, a $13 beer may be a little more than they want to spend.
