Exactly - it’s now or never. His value won’t be any higher except maybe in his final year when he is an expiring…

Matas has a career game today. They need lottery luck. Cooper would change the whole dynamic!

Does the NBA even care enough about the Bulls these days to fix the draft in their favor again like the Derrick Rose draft lottery?

1.7% chance…

Joe Cowley (I know he sucks) is reporting that two potential Vuc trades have fallen through and it’s possible that he isn’t traded by Thursday’s deadline.

Annoyingly, there were reports from earlier in the year that they were turning down second rounders cause they were holding out for a first.

AKME just can't help but overvalue their guys. Never sold high on DeMar or AC, gave Pat an unearned extension, clinging to Vuc for dear life, didn't trade Drummond and then let him walk.

Kuzma to the Bucks for Middleton and I believe a first

I would have done that for Vuc..perfect move - get a first while taking on a bad contract.  Than try and restore Middleton's value a bit and flip him next deadline when he's an expiring.

Billy just said more moves are coming in the press scrum

The Bulls are the ugly girl waiting for closing time at the bar and hoping the better looking girls are all taken so they have a chance.

Well, the Warriors have stopped pursuing KD so the Bulls just started looking better.

(This strategy is still dumb)

Butler to the Warriors for Wiggins, a protected pick, and a couple other guys.

I cannot see Jimmy vying for an extension and Draymond mixing well.

This is gonna be a toxic, beautiful mess.

2yrs 20M total - that is a deal I can get on board with. Seems like the type of move that if it backfires and his leg blows up, it doesn't break the cap, but if it works out and he has a good full season and trends the right way - he helps other players, but at the same time, he probably has real upside as a trade asset depending on where they are in the rebuild.

I prefer assets - but I will admit that Lonzo is a really good player and probably the type of guy that makes it easier to develop younger players around him.  What did they pay him?

2 years, $20M.

In all honesty, it's a great deal if (massive if) Lonzo stays healthy. He brings a vet presence and if they continue to suck, can still be traded.

But god they need to trade Vuc.

Kerr will make it work...maybe.

"The Warriors closed the deal for Butler after negotiations to acquire Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant ended when he informed the team he did not want to return to Golden State, sources said. The Warriors, Heat and Suns had been nearing an agreement on a trade that would've landed Butler in Phoenix and Durant back where he won championships in 2017 and 2018."   espn.com

The Lonzo deal is fine in isolation, but definitely concerned now thst AKME have no interest in tanking.

Is truly tanking and bottoming out a viable strategy in the NBA these days?

So is the Doncic-Davis trade as one-sided as everybody's saying? Is it an attempt by Silver to make the Lakers good forever? There's a lot of yapping on X about how the NBA ratings are terrible and Whitlock says the WNBA soon will pass the NBA in fan interest. Or is Davis good enough to help Dallas win it all? All the chatter I've heard/read suggests the Lakers have pulled off the steal of the century.

Just talked to my cousin in Dallas and he's given up on Cowboys and Mavs...can you get Kyrie Irving to play defense?

Maybe Doncic is really 30 instead of 25. Seems like an unusual deal. Mostly kidding but ????
