Harry Chappas Posted September 27, 2005 Share Posted September 27, 2005 (edited) to Kansas City , you blow the lead to go down 4-3, bust ass to tie the score 4-4 in the 9th see the teams around you are all winning (Bos, NY and at the time the Sox were up 1-0 I think) then lose a ball in the sun to lose a huge game. This made the "demoralizing" loss last night not seem so bad. This and Boston has a doubleheader today. Sorry if this is a dumb post, but it made me feel good so there. I picked up the June issue of SI while I was waiting at the dentist office this morning. Plenty of references to the great play of the sox - how scrappy they were and aggressive. I miss those guys.
