Gordon Beckham has been activated, and Lee Cruz has been sent to Winston-Salem.

Doubleheader at 2pm. Ely and Zaleski starting today.

Wow, I'm shocked. It would have made more sense to promote Cook or Gartrell to Charlotte considering that there is an open spot on their roster.

Lillibridge is going to be there very soon, once Anderson is activated.

True. But who deserves to be in AAA? Gartrell, Cook or Brent "I'm not an alien" Lillibridge?

I think the organization would prefer to keep most of the real prospects and borderline prospects in AA. Right now, Charlotte isn't a winning ball club, and I think the organization wants the top guys to learn how to win, and winning together.

Nice, Birmingham now has officially the sickest lineup:

1. Danks, CF

2. Beckham, SS

3. Flowers, C

4. Allen, 1B

5. Viciedo, 3B

6. Gartell, RF

7. Cook, DH

8. Shelby, LF

9. Retherford, 2B

That's awesome...only one non prospect in the bunch (Cook)

Can anybody check to see if the Dash game is streaming online? They're on the road, so it should be on. I can't get it to play here at work.

Just checked. Worked, but the game is over.

Whisler is pitching well.

I've been thinking about going to Toledo in 2 weeks to see the Knights, but Whisler, Link and Egbert are the only players on the Roster worth seeing.

B. Allen's improvment.

08' in Birmingham - GP-41 AB-153 H-42 2B-6 3B-2 HR-14 RBI-31 BB-19 SO-41 AVG-.275 OBP-.358 SLG-.614 OPS-.973

09' in Birmingham - GP-36 AB-140 H-42 2B-7 3B-3 HR-6 RBI-26 BB-15 SO-23 AVG-.300 OBP-.369 SLG-.521 OPS-.891

The man has come a looooongz way since being drafted though his power last year is still sick to look at. He has really become a stellar prospect.
