I think its a little more like Maury. You are NOT the CONTRACT. Then everyone goes crazy. Then that happens over and over again.

At this point we can use a little Soxtalk intervention. And by the time we are all clean Manny will sign. Screw it give me another fix of rumors.

I think the fans are feeling the frustration the FO is feeling. Things can change quickly though. Hopefully there not damaged relationship cause by this screwed up free agent process. Doubt there will be cause they are professionals but cant help to think these leaks/tweets are doing some sort of damage.

True but you have Abreu 16 mil, Yonders 9 mil Nova 8 mil and Beef 8 mil coming off the books after 19/20. Not likely but possible. I know they probably need to pick up a 1 or 2 starter as well.

If you sign Harper theres a chance that Bryant will follow in 2020 to fill 3rd base.

Not sure if I would consider my source as big. normal size source. Yes still in on Harper. They said the same thing as the Phillies when they met with Harper. Very impressed with Harper and family. Harper is very involved in community activities and charities. Haper is running things not Boras.

Oh no. In my opinion you stay in it as long as possible and throw the highest offer to both of them. Unfortunately I feel we may have to over pay. Not my $$ though.

What my source said last Sunday was that this last week was the week they were very hopeful for. So that didn't happen. I can understand the frustration. The FO thought they were going to be signed by Christmas originally.
