Hi there. I am asking a HUGE favor!! I'm a die-hard sox fan and am looking for 1 ticket for this Sunday's soxfest. I have been to soxfest for the previous 3 years and missed out on the ticket sale this year because i was out of town. I am willing to pay $50 max for the ticket. THERE IT IS... BOBBY JENKS!!! CLOSING TIME!!!

Is it just me, or does anyone else miss seeing Bobby Jenks in games? I know certain situations call for lefties, etc. But I really think that Jenks is a superstar closer in the making and i'd like to see us use him and make fools of opposing hitters. Especially in a situation like last night where we could have saved Hermanson and his back and locked down a 6-1 victory. Maybe it's just me, but everytime Jenks comes in, I get excited to see him mow down opposing hitters and watch them head back to the dugout shaking their heads.

Brian Anderson and Jon Adkins were both there. In fact.. brian was VERY nice. he signed my baseball brian anderson and wrote "I love Kate" on it. he told me he does that once a signing..haha. i'll post a picture of him this evening. josh

I got the ball from Grandstand. It looks amazing with the whole teams' autographs on it. I even got Jerry Reinsdorf to sign it..haha.

Just wanted to check in and say what a great time picnic in the park was!!! Only players I didn't see there were AJ, Vizcaino, and El Duque. Anyone see them there??? All in all, it was a very fun evening. I was very impressed how nice Dustin Hermanson, Chris Widger, Geoff Blum, Brian Anderson, Bobby Jenks, Scott Podsednik and Jose Contreras were. Dustin said his back is terrible and isn't getting any better at all. If anyone wants to see pictures, i could post some. Anyhow.. I wanna know what other people thought about the Picnic in the Park!!

is it just me, or are juan and joe the kings of the infield or shallow pop up??? i think this is one of the most frustrating things about this team and i've noticed it over the past couple years, not just this year. Maybe if Greg Walker was so great he could put an end to it because it's an obvious problem in technique. I want to know what everyone else's thoughts on this are as well.

Wanted to start a thread for all those that are going to the picnic in the park this Sunday. For all those that have been in the past couple years, what are your chances of getting something signed by the entire team??? How accessible are the players?? For those going this year.... who are you looking forward to meeting and what are you gonna get signed?

I was wondering if anyone on this board has ever been to the Picnic in the Park?? if you could please tell me all about it, i'd greatly appreciate it. I paid the $250 to go to it this year and was wondering if all the players are there and the details. Thanks. Josh
