For you as well.
This is a new low for you, Tony. I don't think its possible to be more objective than you're being.

Ballgame.

Your team is a handful of outs away from getting to the World Series, and your cruising White Sox and Yankee message boards?
Nice.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by this. Monday's are my busiest days, I've gone out drinking the last week due to these games. I'm content talking on the Red Sox message board with my buddies tonight.
Don't be a dickhead.

It's not a necessity to live, but if your body is unable to produce a normal amount, it could effect Paul Byrd being able to do his job, in which case it becomes a necessity to live.

I can't stand the Red Sox in general....much less their fan base. The ONLY thing I like about the BoSox is Pedrioa...but that's because I'm pro ASU and saw him his whole career. You always knew he'd be successful at the next level. I'd never seen a hitter like him at ASU...and I've been out here 23 years and have seen a bunch out here (including Bonds, Mike Kelly, Travis Buck, Larish (who was the Tiger Minor League POY). Pedroira just stood out....
He's the man. I've never been so happy to look identical to someone that looks like John Clayton.
Somebody on the Yankee board who has over a thousand posts said tonight that "Pedroia is the next Jeter". Quite the praise.

I don't agree with you very often, but I echo your sentiments.
This has turned out to be a great baseball game. Boston could've broke it open early, Cleveland bent but didn't break and now is clawing back in it. Unfortunately for them they still gotta find a way to scratch out one more versus (potentially) Okajima, Beckett, Delcarmen and Papelbon. They got the offense to do it, but it's going to be quite the finish (I hope).
You don't agree with me because my handle isn't "Sox Rule Cubs Drool!" or something of the sort. Yup, nail and noggin on what you wrote.
-
Westbrook has been gutsy as hell tonight. Now's the time to capitalize on the momentum before Papelbon comes in.
Westbrook has come up huge. Gutsy as hell. The Red Sox have had a lot of chances to score and they've got only three runs to show for it. IMpressivve.

What players don't you like on this team? IMO, they're very likable.
They're young, down to earth, talented guys. Outside of Manny, I can't think of anybody whose disliked around the league.
-
It's not choking, it's called the breaks that went the Indians way in games 2, 3, and 4 aren't going the same way in games 5 & 6.
Two best teams in baseball, the future World Series Champion IMO. Great baseball right here. Enjoy it.

Don't you dare think that she was the only one taking steroids. Track & Field is the dirtiest sport of any, Jones just happened to get caught.
It was stupid of her to lie and she should be punished accordingly for that, but locking her up is nonsense.
She is of no threat to society.

Oh, and Tony. I'd love to hear your expertise chime in here...
Why is it a good idea to extend the manager of the most underachieving team in baseball history's contract?
-
You also thought Willy Mo Pena for Mark Buehrle was a fair deal.
As a starting point without the extension involved, I still do.
One "l" in Wily, pal.
-
I rate Ozzie Guillen as a top three worst managers in sports. Franchise threatening deal.
Here come the flamers...
-
My new prediction is Contreras and a decent spec get traded for Tejada, and it happens relatively early in the off-season.
Why would the Orioles do that?
-
U mean like uzing proper grammer?
Nyce 1,

It was a joke, relax
No hard feelings, it's hard to tell a joke when everybody rips the Red Sox here.
-
Can somebody shed details on the Pierzynski/Walker incident? They're discussing it on the Red Sox broadcast as if I'm supposed to know what happened. Freakin' Remy.
-
Papelbon...now they're just trying to zetz us
He hasn't pitched all week and their off tomorrow. Use your head.
-
Most AAA teams look like they're trying a lot harder than this.
Good point. It's too bad.
-
I agree BigSqwert. It's unacceptable to have a payroll near the $100 million mark and be the worst team in baseball both on paper and in the standings.
Pros: Josh Fields, Paul Konerko, Jermaine Dye, Jim Thome, A.J. Pierzynski and the rotation headed into '08.
Cons: An "A" line-up of Andy Gonzalez, Jerry Owens, Danny Richar, Darin Erstad, to go along with the worst bullpen ever assembled.
I also want to thank you for fielding a triple-a team against my boys this weekend.

I am definitely for that as long as the lineup behind him supports it. I think it is more of an entire lineup concept more than just a single spot.
I feel like in the second hole Iguchi has been pressured into doing "all the little things" - in the lead off spot, he'd be able to swing more freely. Probably a non-issue because it won't happen, but Iguchi is one of the better hitters on the team, you don't bat Erstad/Podsednik first and second in the order giving them far more at-bats than Iguchi will receive simply because they have speed or are better base runners. Foolish, but that's Ozzie for ya.

Zambrano either really wimped out, or they are really close to a big, long term deal.
Do you think his $15.5 million dollar proposal was realistic? I sure don't. The increase from $6.5 to $15.5 would be the largest of it's kind if i'm not mistaken.

Manny doesn't make that catch. Good call, Francona.
