  1. I don't think Pedro is past his prime or that he has "lost dominance". I think he is dogging it a bit on purpose lately because he feels like an unwanted stepchild. He'll likely sign with he Yankees though, so he can enjoy off days shopping for shoes and clothing with "Avon" Rodriguez and "Pond's Cream" Jeter. They'll make a lovely trio.
  2. I don't find any particular announcer annoying but one thing that does annoy me is when they use phrases that pander to the illiterate. "Walk-off home run" instead of "Game-winning home run". Reminds me of those song titles back in the 80's with titles like "I Would Die 4 U" and such. Sure most sports fans aren't exactly rocket scientists, but most of us have made it past the third grade at least.
