Tribe fan and a lover of the City of Chicago here. I just wanted to congratulate you guys on your World Championship. Superb pitching, timely hitting, great fielding... the Sox were magnificent. You deserve it. I'm shaking my head... a month ago I thought my team was better than yours, and that we would run you down and take the division from you. I thought the Indians were the best team in baseball, and could be World Champions. I was wrong. But I'll go to my grave thinking that you won the World Series when you flattened the Tribe in the season series. Those were the two best teams in the game going at it, 19 times, and you took a chunk out of us. Those 19 games got you in, and kept us out. And despite the fact that I hate the White Sox more than any other Central team, the respect I have for your organization, your manager, your players, and you, the White Sox fans, is immense. I've been lurking on these boards ever since early September, and in that time I've learned everything I know about the bond between the Sox and the fans, your loyalty, and your perseverence in the face of 88 years of frustration. My hat goes off to all of you. Enjoy this to the fullest. On April 3, 2006... it's on again. You won't go 14-5 against us next year (hopefully). Congrats again, An Indians fan.
