Ok, I'm now over 30 sponsors who are either official team sponsors or who had clear ads in the ballpark last year. If you do business with one of them, reach out. Be polite, the person on the other end of the email may not even know they advertise with that team, and they're unlikely to be aware of this situation, so explain the details - you are advertising with a team that is now employing a manager with 2 DUIs, including one this year that they won't comment on, and ask them if that is the type of business they want to be supporting or reflective of their corporate beliefs. Some of them easily available through social media, lots of email addresses, a good number of phone numbers and web forms you could fill out. Several beer vendors, several car companies.

They lose a couple of these, Tony LaRussa is gone. Has anyone here dealt with Mazda of Orland Park at some point? They look like a huge pressure point. Big account.

Full list is posted a couple pages ago, or available here.

Great list! Inspire Brands bought Dunkin Donuts in late October, 2020. They own Arby's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Sonic, and Jimmy John's as well.

    Here's a preliminary plan

    Odorizzi @ 3/54
    Pomeranz @ 2/14
    Nova @ 1/9
    Smyly MiLB deal

    Grandal @ 4/80
    Abreu @ 2/24

    Reynaldo Lopez for Brandon Nimmo
Stiever and one of Rutherford/Adolfo/Basabe/Gonzalez for Mychal Givens

    DFA Yolmer, Tender everyone else

    C Grandal
    1B Abreu
    2B Madrigal
    SS Anderson
    3B Moncada
    LF Jimenez
    CF Robert
    RF Nimmo
    DH Some mix of Grandal/Collins/Abreu

Bench - McCann, Collins, Leury, Engel, Mendick

SP - Giolito, Cease, Odorizzi, Kopech, Nova (Rodon/Smyly/Dunning/Lambert/depth signings)
RP - Bummer, Colome, Herrera, Pomeranz, Givens, two of Hamilton/Burr/Marshall/Cordero/others)

    Payroll ~120M

I wouldn't mind Choo for DH. Only 1 year left on his deal, and I can't imagine him costing that much to acquire. .371 OBP and .828 OPS in over 500 at bats last year, which is right in line with his career averages.

They were checking yesterday on the ramp to get back into the 100 from the social lounge.  We had to walk up to the 500 just to come back down on the other side to get to the Craft Kave.

They normally check all around if it's over 30,000, sounds like they were blown away by the walk up, so both concessions and security weren't prepared.

Sorry for the dumb question, because I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but do they check your phone ticket how they used to check a paper ticket? Ie: you show them your phone as you're walking into the 100. I heard from someone they scan your ticket every time you come back...granted, I don't really trust this person, and that really wouldn't make sense to scan it every time, but figured I would ask.

Reports during negotiations said Machado did not want to go out west. Of course 50 extra million can convince people a lot of things. If money was equal I have 0 doubt hed be here.

    100% this is a fact.

100% agree.  There is an ego element to this and giving the guy a sexy / record setting contract is more important than anything else (within reason).  If I had to gues, Bryce wants 10/$326M at a minimum and will hold out until someone brings that to the table.  Zero reason that team shouldn’t be us if we can stop playing games and just offer up straight guaranteed money.

I'm thinking he wants 10/$350M.  Highest contract ever, and the highest AAV as well.

We’re already up to $700!  Just need someone who knows how to setup a gofundme and design a billboard!  Any graphic designers on the site?

I normally spending a couple hundred on Opening Day. I would rather put that towards this.

We should have a walk out petition here and send it over to Brooks. Vowing to not financially support this team next year. We are the die hards that have supported them when no casual fans would and we just arent going to do it anymore.

Please. Whoever made the suggestion of a well-written ad in the paper - get that going. I will contribute.

    I'm down!

So I was talking to a source in the front office and had a good chat about both Muchado and Harper. The conversation was more focused on the relationship with the White Sox and players/free agents wives/family. I really don’t want to say much but the conversation but it ended with this week referring to Muchado. Obviously it doesn’t get much vaguer than this.

My friend also described Harper as very interested in charitable causes that the white sox are involved in. I guess he is very hands on in the community. Sounds like a good guy. Boras on the other hand has been tough.

Ending this week, meaning signing with the Sox?
