It sucks to watch a losing team, you want the people responsible for its construction to face some consequences, but I can't understand the desire to want your team to lose.

There are some logical reasons to want your team to lose, ie to tank for a better pick or to force the hand on firing executives/coaches. Well, Hahn and Kenny already got fired and there's no doing better than the 10th pick. There is still some pride in sports fandom, it's an analogy for pride in the place you're from, a less chauvinistic kind of nationalism. If you're a patriotic citizen, you might not like the people in charge but you don't want your country to fail, you want it to get better.

You guys should be patriotic Sox fans. Critical of the morons in charge, objective about the performance on the field, watch the game and hope for a win. I think, in a way, you're disrespecting yourself by considering yourself a fan and wishing for losses. Give up the fandom, find a new nation if you feel that way. I'm gonna keep rooting for these unlikable losers, a brighter future is on the horizon.

Can't really get a good pick now.  I do like some of the younger people coming up.  Last years team was the worst.  I couldn't root for anyone.  There's a decent minor league core but nothing extravagant and still need Alot more depth because most won't pan out.   Need a whole new GM to build the next 2 years and sign the right players.  Signing involves money (which they'll have) and a culture change so people actually want to play here.   We can't overpay on trash like the worst hitter in baseball (benetendi) and let MVPs get away over 10 million dollars.

KC can thank Chicago for its nice record, its nice start. How many years have the Sox kickstarted KC's season? That 4-0 sweep was insanity. It showed how far the Sox are from other teams. I mean the Royals won all 4 and didn't need to sweat at all. And excited a fanbase in KC thinking the Royals are good. I expect more of the same in Chicago however if the Sox are going to win 30 games this season they might bag a few wins over hapless KC.

Kind of funny the 2019 royals (2024 White Sox) cant beat the 2024 royals.

  3. Looks Moncada is done for the year.  I'm predicting 120 losses.  Hopefully they don't rush anyone up to join a losing culture.  Need a fresh start in 2025 and hope for #1 draft pick

    90s and 2000s were a different era.

the game has passed Jerry by, but he refuses to change. He has to do it “his” way, which may have accidentally worked in the 2000s, but not today.

Yeah Alot has to do with inflated salaries which I agree with are too high but he needs to spend SMART.  Hahn did a lot of dumpster spending to fill the roster because the lack of young developing talent.  You can spend 100 million on 3 or 4 superstars and win if you spend 100 million on 22 more guys wisely through development and scouting.  I get sick seeing Moncadas salary but they refused to spend on a superstar for 5-10 million more per year.  We are paying 10 million plus to players not even on the roster this year

It starts at the top with the worst owner in MLB.

Yeah I agree to a point.  He did ok in 90s thru early 2000s Atleast the management was competent.   Although there was still issues.  Rock hahn was a complete clown.  Ventura/Grifol clowns.  Larussa past his prime.  If we kept that guy from the cubs and Cooper probably done  better in 2021-2023.  Gm sucked ass with bad draft picks , free agent signings , and trades.  Should have been all in on Bryce Harper.

  6. Man I loved this team 1993 to about 2007.  I still really liked it 2007 to 2013.  I started getting frustrated 2013 to 2019.  Optimism in 2020.  Started to dislike strongly in 2022.  Absolutely can't stand this team anymore.  This is by far the worst team I've ever witnessed in all of baseball.   The fact that they blew it with the 2020 core and turned into an absolute embarrassment is sickening.  We even got Steve stone to call games , he's got to be embarrassed as well.  Midseason or day 1 off-season Getz , Grifol , entire coaching staff , Talent evaluators , Trainers, Moncada , Eloy all need fired.  Start over.  Build a core and rebuild for a few years.  That is all.  Maybe I'll start watching again.  This team and manager are an absolute joke.

Len says the Sox are 0-10 when Sox pitchers strikeout 14 or more hitters, will be 0-11 without a comeback.

Four of these games were extra innings.

Wow quite the accomplishment.  Poor defense and poor hitting ftw

Do people forget what absolute clown shoes Ozzie was at the end of his time managing? He got fired for a reason

Yes.  I don't blame him the team had potential but KW blew it.  Brett morel and lillibridge at 3b.  Adam Dunn.  Alex Rios.  Incomplete bullpen and rotation.  Built exactly like the 2022 white sox.  2022 hole at 2b RF and starting rotation.  Underperforming players.  Tony even quit too.   Adam Dunn hit .154.  A total joke.  Carlos Quentin Konerko and AJ had great years.  Quentin was a stud that year and was fun to watch until be got injured getting angry.

  10. Agree.  Time to bring in some winners to run the time.  Not KC Royals losers.  Ozzie and Theo 2024.  Theo would be a sure KW pick considering he was a legend in Boston 20 years ago and chicago Cubs 10 years ago.  But KW and Ozzie can't co exist.  KWs time has come and he's failed this organization since 2007 with blame on Hahn since 2012.

  11. That was a hard shot.  Ramirez wound up and clocked Anderson square in the jaw hard.  About anyone would have went down.  Ramirez ducked Andersons shot and time it perfectly.  Anderson was a sitting duck after the miss.
