If the Jays don't end up getting Ohtani after the initial reports, I can't even imagine what a gut punch that would be as a Toronto fan. Like last year's "Arson Judge" to the Giants, but 10x worse.

Yep, these are fantastic. I've long advocated a monochrome black/inverted pinstriped alternate for the Sox, so it's very cool to finally see it in real life.

Say the Sox are/were in on Castillo from Cincinnati.
Any chance they'd be willing to take on Mike Moustakas' contract to drive down the prospect price? That way we'd get our controllable starter and a lefty DH in one move. Not sure where he'd play once Vaughn is ready, though.

Wouldn't be terribly surprised to see the Cubs kick the tires on him. Russell has likely played his last game in a Cub uniform.

Maybe this will lead to a full rebrand. With Wahoo going, I can't imagine the "Indians" name will be too far behind.
At the very least, I hope they come up with something new to use as their new primary logo in place of that bland block "C."

He came out and acknowledged the Dodgers were in on Ohtani and that he was their "number one target."
