Sorry I was wrong. It was 15 inches until 1969 when it was moved to 10.5 inches.

Also from White Sox notes: Dayan Viciedo (.361) and Alexei Ramirez (.357) rank 1-2 in AL batting average. Viciedo .429 over last 9 games.

McDade played every game I believe. I saw Bassitt pitch on Monday (he got the W), saw Omogrosso get W on Sunday. Frazier went in on Friday. Looks like Phipps, Robles and Smith didn't play.

During spring training the players rent furnished houses and apartments (like they do in Chicago during the regular season). Minor league guys tend to rent one house for several guys. Most all of the wives/kids come out to spring training as well. Of course the exception to this is Konerko who stays with his family in their permanent house in Scottsdale during spring training.
