Durham Bulls pitcher hit in head by liner...rushed to ER

Featured Replies

I won't post a link because no one needs to see it, but Rays minor league pitcher Tyler Zombro  got hit in the head on a line drive fell to ground face first and immediately started convulsing. Players looked away in horror and he was rushed to the hospital. Currently in stable condition.

I've mentioned this a few times, but when do we start having pitchers where helmets? It's only a matter of time until this happens again. I'm surprised it hasn't happened more often. Balls are coming off the bat now harder than ever.
