October 25, 200322 yr Author It was awesome... I mean, for a predictable story, you never really know the ending until you're in the midst of it. I think the two best movies I've seen this year are "open range" and "Mystic River". They're similarly shot...each has some great silent shots, where the actors and the landscape just tell the story without words. Sean Penn of course rocks. Kevin Bacon becomes cool again in my eyes. Tim Robbins is creepy as usual.
