I know this is a term often associated with baseball franchises and their styles of evaluating talent, especially Billy Beane and the Oakland A's. Well I was wondering to myself what exactly it was and I'm sure some of the posters around here are unfamiliar with the concept. So for those who are interested, I found this article and it does a pretty good job explaining it.
