January 11, 200323 yr I was listening to The Score this morning, and heard something that might be cool. Seems like Bud Selig is considering giving the winning league at the All Star Game home field advantage in the World Series rather than alternating each year. This might give the teams something more to play for, as the teams now are mostly comprised of players from teams that are still in the playoff hunt, the lower echelon teams getting only one representative.

I really like this idea, it would be great seeing the best in the game playing a meaningful game.
January 11, 200323 yr If they are going to do this, they need to eliminate the "at least one player from every team" rule and let each league actually bring their best.
