While it looks like its going to happen, nothing is done yet.

 

According to the Kansas City Star, the Royals and Juan Gonzalez haven't yet agreed to terms, although Kansas City is the slugger's probable destination.

"We actually started with about six, and we've got about three left," agent Alan Nero said. "But I would clearly say that Kansas City is the frontrunner at the moment." GM Allard Baird said that Gonzalez likely would play right field if signed, pushing Aaron Guiel to left.

 

And Unless Juan has learned to pitch this offseason, I am not sure how this move puts K.C. over the top
