Although there would seem to be the possibility of a match, the Angels aren't interested in trading Ramon Ortiz or Jarrod Washburn to the White Sox for Paul Konerko.

The Angels need a first baseman and are looking to move one of the pitchers, but Konerko doesn't appear to be on their list. They might just sign Travis Lee. Source: Los Angeles Times

 

Hopefully the Halos get desperate as the season approaches, otherwise it looks like that deal is dead.

Nobody wants Konerko, hopefully he comes back with a great year.

Travis Lee....wow. Konerko I think will have a better year, but I don't think he is worth 9 mil. Please Angels help us out.

I think paulie boy can bounce back from last year and maybe just maybe he could put to halfs together and have some real big numbers this year just a thought

I doubt Lee will put up 2/3 of the numbers that Paul does this year. The only thing he brings to the table is defense. A poor man's JT Snow if you ask me.

Rotoworld is focused on Fantasy Baseball, you have to keep that in mind when they assess a deal. Emphasis on stats.
