Spring Training

Featured Replies

I've been to spring games before, but this year I kind of wanna go and check out lthe minor leaguers and stuff, not just the games in the stadium but the stuff on the practice diamonds too. What is the deal with that stuff? Is it easy to get in there, lots of room to watch, or are spectators frowned upon? Also what times are best to catch that sort of stuff?

Thanks a lot in advance!

The minor league games typically start at 1. But it can change. It's pretty easy to get in and there is more than enough room to watch games. Spectators aren't frowned upon at all, unless they are being boorish or messing with players (not really an issue). The games are typically pretty boring, at least from a player's perspective, but I can imagine them being interesting for someone just checking out prospects. If you have any other questions, I'll do my best to help.

Sweet, thanks a lot for your help.

I'm going to be down there next week and I'll probably check out the minor league camp as well (assuming Sweeney and Anderson are actually sent down to the camp by that time).

Who is pitching today??
