For the large group of fans in Left Field....

Personally I wouldn't do it, but I think that complaining about a fan throwing a ball back is pretty pointless.

They kept the homerun balls, but I don't see the point of throwing it back on the field when you could just give it to someone else and make their day.

Was that the sweeney HR? After that one i was too pissed to even listen to what anyone had to say, even my gf who was with me the whole time.

I'd love to the opportunity to be sitting in the Wrigley bleachers and throw back a Sosa home run ball ... a meaningless, losing 10-1 homer, of course. But considering I've only been to Wrigley once in my life, I doubt I'll ever get the chance.

When you get a ball hit to you it's your ball so whatevr you want to do with it is fine.

Personally in a Sox game I would:

Throw it back no matter what if the Sox didnt hit it.

If it is a game that the Sox arent in, I would diffentley would not throw it back unless I really hated that player or really hated that team: KC, Minn and Clevlend. Maybe Yankmees

I'm sorry that's not how it works. There are rules. You can't just throw something on the field.

What about when it is booble head day...or bat day even?? Those give aways are yours...Can you do whatever you want with them?? Can you throw those on the field if you don't like them??

I just think as a sox fan and a baseball fan I respect what a home run is. It's not easy to do and as pissed off as I am when that happens by the opposing team....a little kid just knows it was a home run ball....he doesn't care what team it came from....so like I said if you don't want it then make their day.

He hits it like 1 foot higher and it lands in my lap

eyes on the ball, my friend....
