maggsmaggs Posted June 3, 2004 Share Posted June 3, 2004 We trade Joe Borchard, Paul Konerko, Mike Spindale (maybe it would have to be Sweeney) and Eduardo Villacis for John Olerud, Eddie Guardado and Freddy Garcia. We get Olerud and older vet, with a sweet lefty stroke, and a good glove, Guardado a awesome closer and Carcia a solid pitcher. They get Konerko who is better than Olerud and would help the Mariners get younger. Also, they get some pretty good propsects. This all is assuming Maggs returns, because if he doesn't Konerko's got to stay. **If we deal it will be from a strength. Any thoughts?
