Yoda Posted July 7, 2004 Share Posted July 7, 2004 I don’t know if anyone else noticed this, but once that 2 out single went past the gap (in the fourth), Garcia started to throw atom balls. My complaint is Crede. That f***ing single was just about 2 feet away from him! The asshole never tried to slide or even run for it. What does he do? He let’s the ball get to Carlos Lee. Sure he had a RBI in the bottom of the 2nd, but there has to be defense in the field as well! The kid should have tried to slide or something, but NO! I don’t know, but once the defense for the Sox starts to screw up, Garcia does the same. Like that other time when Jose tried to turn a DP by himself and f***ed up. Later Freddy threw a cookie and the Twins were tied 4-4. You never know, if Crede could have tried to slide to get that ball, the HR might have never existed.
