MLB was trying to kep teams from abusing the interim tag to get around their diversity plan. I just find it sad we need to even have this policy and have teams hire the best person for the job regardless of age, sex, color, or creed.

That is such a joke.  Dispite what people thought of him here, there are a couple of jobs that JM would have been ideal for, especially Philly IMO.  It is too bad the guy can't even get a real interview.

I got a job for Jerry Manuel. He can pass out programs and sell peanuts he's that bad.
