April 5, 200323 yr My brother and mom are both Cubs fans and today they were watching on TV when Sammy hit number 500. They both yelled for my dad who was downstairs and he came up, heard the news and said "Oh the miracles of modern medicine". I was laughing my butt off. But the other two didnt have a clue. But Im kinda proud of my brother. He seemed to care that the Cubs were losing and he quit watching. Breaking from the usual path for Cubs fans. Theres hope for him yet!

My mom tried to calm him down by saying atleast Sammy hit one out. Thats what Im glad my brother didnt do...
