I'm fine with Uribe at number 2, but I would like to see Rowand 3 or 5 then. Rowand would be in a better spot to drive in runs. Something to keep in mind, with Pods on first, Uribe is bound to see a lot of fastballs, something he's proven he can pound. Plus the fact that he can bunt pretty well.

I have to defer to Ozzie on this one, and it is nice that someone finally mentioned something besides stats. With Uribe batting behind Podsednik it makes sense to get a fast ball hitter there. Also, there is a lot more to setting a lineup than just saying oh player A has a xxx OBP and player B has yyy OBP. That's why we aren't all managers of baseball teams. Its pretty obvious that some people on this board have never played baseball past little league, there is more to it than just #s.
