Firefox Spyware

Just so everyone knows, I think Mozilla Firefox is a solid product but it is not without its faults. Many people think it is immune to the bugs and exploits of Internet Explorer as the software often claims.

On the other hand, a fully-updated IE browser and safe browsing practices makes IE about as safe as a Firefox installation with extensions. If the Firefox user base ever begins to rival the IE one, we will see more spyware targeted at Firefox. The real vulnerability is the Windows operating system more than the browser itself. Firefox on Linux or OS X is much safer than Firefox on Windows.
