The Bills sign Kelly Holcombe. Makes sense for them, but not much for Kelly. Maybe the Browns really are hot for trot on Trent Dilfer. That's all I can figure on why he'd not be the man there.

Same as what the Bears might do with Warner. Have the Vet come in to light the fire under the young QB's ass. Holcomb will do that for Losman and hopefully/maybe Warner can do that for Grossy.

Yeah, Lossman was out last year with a broken leg, so like Grossman nobody really knows how healthy he will be. With their defense and the run they made at the end of last year, I think this is a solid move by the Bills

McCown and Harris are not capable of leading a team to the promised land. Period.

 

Although Dilfer has made it to the big game, and won, he's clearly on the downside of his career and should be nothing more than a clipboard quarterback.

 

In the mock contest, I'm going to have Derrick Johnson going to the Browns at #3, but I wouldn't be suprised one bit if they take Smith.

 

Bad move by the Browns. They should have done whatever it took to get Kelly back and guarntee him the starting spot. Kelly is a gamer. He gets it done and he was head and shoulders above both McCown and Harris.

I'm not saying that they won't take Smith. It would definitely be the betting man's favorite. A lot will depend on what the Dolpins do and I don't believe anyone actually knows (Rolle, Pacman, DJ, Smith, ROnnie B, and Benson are all legit candidates). I think that Cleveland is going to have to love Smith to take him, not just like him.
