Game Story

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama (Ticker) -- Four pitchers, including Ian

Harvey, scattered seven hits and struck out 10 to lead the

Mobile BayBears over the Birmingham Barons, 5-0. Harvey (1-0)

allowed two hits in 1 1/3 innings to grab the win in relief of

starter Brad Baker, yielded three hits, four walks and struck

out six over 4 2/3 innings. Khalil Greene and Jake Gautreau each

hit a solo homer in the fourth inning to open the scoring for

Mobile. John Knott slugged a two-run shot in the eighth to cap

the night for the BayBears, who recorded their second win on the

road against seven losses. Brian West (0-1) suffered the loss,

surrendering three runs and five hits in 6 2/3 innings.
