June 20, 200520 yr I heard this from a guy on the Score the other day: the White Sox are a five-tool team. They can hit for average, hit for power, base run, field, and throw. They're a six-tool team if you toss pitching in there, too. I thought it was a really great way to look at our team. We don't have a guy that is truly five-tool, but overall the players on the squad combine to make a very versitile club.

We don't have a guy that is truly five-tool, but overall the players on the squad combine to make a very versitile club. That is a good way to categorize this team. We have players that don't try to do too much and go beyond their capabilities.
