    My wife has been a nurse in the OB unit for about 5 years now. Trust me, the only thing KIND OF unusual about this story is that she was charged with anything. The amount of people coming into her hospital hooked on cocaine, heroin, any other drug including alcohol, is staggering. All they can do is call child services and hope something happens. Most times though, the parent is sent home with the kid.
