August 14, 200520 yr Although it is disappointing that we will probably lose 2 out of 3 and maybe get swept...the Indians who were winning like crazy look as they may lose 2 out of 3 to the Devil Rays so we will probably start this weekend with a 12 game lead and end it with a 12 game lead (knocking one more tough series off the August schedule and lowering the magic number in the process).. Just a silver lining and Boston has been almost unbeatable at home. If you are down - just think about the 12 game lead and how the celebrating in September when we clinch... I think the Soxtalk members should meet when the magic number is down to 2 or 1 at some bar if the Sox are on the road and celebrate..

Most of my family are Yankee's fans (my dad's from New York and the only two White Sox fans and my mom and myself).. 1993 was great as I was at that game..but 2000 was not as fun when they won in Minnesota - most of my friend's are Cubs Fans and I was watching the game alone and celebrating alone that day).. It would be great to celebrate with a group of die-hards...
