Rescheduled Game

Featured Replies

When I looked at the Sox schedule for September I noticed that they have a game at Boston on the 5th. This is in the middle of a 10-game homestand and it also means that the Sox only have 1 day off the rest of the season.

I realize Ozzie is going to use his September call-ups to give guys some rest but why did they have to reschedule this game? Don't they normally just wait until the end of the season and if the game has any significance play it then? Hopefully, the lack of rest won't have any impact on how they play when October rolls around.

The good news is that we all have something to watch every day from here until the end of the season, except for September 12th. :gosox1:

Good post. Yes, I thought that's how they would normally do it.

Why reschedule the game?
