Molto
Help Support Blackhawkzone.com and Party with Hawk Fans The party is official and is happening. Put it in your calendar, Palm Pilot, write it on your hand, whatever, just SHOW UP! Who: You and all of your friends, and they don't have to be hockey friends. Just bring people that can eat, drink, and pay. What: A Chicago Blackhawks road game watch party, what we hope will turn into the first of many. Chicago Blackhawks vs. Carolina Hurricanes. When: Saturday night, Saturday, October 26, starting at 5:30 PM, ending at what we've been told is 1:15 AM. Puck drop for the Hawks-Hurricanes game is at 6:05 PM. Where: Pequod's Pizza. 2207 North Clybourn, Chicago, Illinois, at the intersection of Webster and Clybourn on the Northeast corner. We'll be in the upstairs room. Why: We're doing it to promote Blackhawk fan camraderie and to give Frank Porcelli some help in running Blackhawkzone.com. How much: $35 gets you unlimited pizza and Miller Lite and Leinenkugel draft beer for SEVEN+ HOURS! Frank gets $10 of your $35 admission. What a deal! If you don't like those beers, the folks at Pequod's have expressed a willingness to make deals for other liquors, but to keep the costs down for the masses, only Wisconsin draft beers are included in the $35 package. Your understanding is appreciated. Parking: Street parking on and around Webster and Clybourn is usually not too difficult. The Webster Place movie theaters across the street have a lot if all else fails. Directions From the Kennedy: Exit at Fullerton, head east to Clybourn, and head south two blocks to Webster, Peqoud's will be on your left just before the light at Webster. Directions from Lake Shore Drive: Exit at Fullerton, head west to Clybourn, and head south two blocks to Webster, Peqoud's will be on your left just before the light at Webster. If you plan to attend, please post on the Blackhawkzone.com message board with the approximate number of people you plan to bring. If you've already replied, no need to reply again. There is a maximum of around 70 (don't go nuts, Frank, people still have to show up! ) . This is a really great opportunity to help Frank out, see the game in a hockey friendly environment (one of the few in the city of Chicago ) , and get to know your fellow Blackhawk fans and BHZ.com community members. Hope to see everyone Saturday night!
