Carry-out salad has lizard head

CORALVILLE, Iowa - A customer at a restaurant in Iowa got a little something extra in the carry-out salad.

 

A lizard head was found in the salad prepared at Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar in Coralville.

 

Applebee's says the lizard head has tested negative for salmonella. Final results are expected Monday.

 

Officials say the restaurant is now using pre-cut, pre-cleaned lettuce for its salads.

I worked at a movie theater in HS. One of the popcorn poppers used to urinate in the liquid butter used for preparing the popcorn. Needless to say, I don't eat popcorn when I go to the movies at that theater.

I may never eat movie popcoirn again, CK.
