Major League Baseball has designated October 3 as Rally Monday in the eight major-league cities with a team advancing to the postseason. Rally Monday is free of charge and will take place rain or shine. WHO: Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley is scheduled to participate, in addition to former White Sox players, club broadcasters and White Sox officials. Gene Honda will emcee the program, which will include playoff memories from Bill Pierce, Ron Kittle and Ed Farmer and will feature the debut of the 2005 White Sox season highlights film.
