October 12, 200520 yr I am pleasantly surprised with their play to date. While the Canes are the primary team I cheer for, I do cheer for the Sens as well. When I heard Hasek signed with them I was excited, but didn't think I would get to see him play. If Ray can control his temper, the Sens are set when it comes to net minding. I have to admit the Heatley trade is working out better for the Sens than I thought it would. I can't wait to see them play the Canes when I go mid/late November (I am also going to see the Canes play Tampa Bay). Even when the Canes suck (as they have so far - the rule changes really pull the Canes out of their game), they play the Sens hard. GO CANES GO SENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
October 25, 200520 yr Author My boys handed the Sens their first loss last night. Gerber looked damned good last night too. I was kinda hoping it would go into overtime as I thought it was cool that it was the Sens and Predators as the last undefeated teams (now just the Preds - how odd is that ). GO CANES!!! I cannot WAIT to see them next month.

October 29, 200520 yr The have a deadly offense anchored by that first line. Hasek has been spectacular thus far. They are top three team so far.
