The one that ended in "I wouldn't wear a Sox cap even if they made it to the World Serires"? The one that he officially blamed on a rogue ghostwriter? I wonder if he'll be sticking to it. I'd actually respect him more if he did; he's the phoniest bandwagoner ever. I'm very proud of my fellow Sox fans for booing him when he tried to throw out the first pitch at the Cell. And I respect other fans who are really loyal to their teams. However, if I were elected governor of ALL the people of Illinois, I sure as heck would be promoting any and all of our sports teams every chance I got. See the difference?
