i know what my vote is.

I'm not voting, however, there are some good things and bad things about the NHL.

 

There are too many penalties, which disrupt the flow of the game, halt any form of defense, and take away the toughness that was once part of the NHL and goalies shouldnt be restricted from playing the puck, that is very lame.

 

However, I like the elimination of two line passes. I like the rule that when a team ices the puck they cannot make a change. I like smaller goalie pads. Scoring is up, which is nice. And its on TV more often, so I'm happy with the new NHL to a certain extent, but as a traditionalist, I would much rather have the old NHL.

I just got back from Raleigh (saw two Canes games - they lost both games, but with Brind'Amour, Wesley and Vasicek out they at least made the second game close until the empty netter with about 5 seconds left in the game).

 

There are just too many penalties getting called. Oh, and someone needs to knock Chara on his ass a few dozen times. That is all lol.
