Sox pitching coach had to come out and right after he left the mound, Wakefield threw a strike. then one of the announcers said that almost every time you see a pitching coach come out, the next pitch is a strike. and then went on to say (paraphrase) '... a pitching can usually find a flaw in the mechanics.....a good pitching coach that is.' i was LMAO. that got me to thinking that every damn time that Nardi went out, the very next pitch was a hit or HR or something bad.
