You know, there are some people who are HONORING the old bands. But I guess they're right that most are just stealing.

It's a serious issue for some of the old guys who are still trying to perform under their old monikers. So many of these music vets were so screwed over by their labels, publishers, and even their own managers the first go-round, it's aweful to see them still getting shafterd 50 years later.

 

That said, I even think the "one original member" stipulation is too loose. By that standard, the original drummer for Rush (before Neil Peirt) could tour as Rush once the current band disbanded because he played on the first two albums.

 

Heck, Ringo should start touring as the Beatles. . . :bang
