With my Illini losing today, it's time for baseball. Did the Sox really win the series last year. I'm an ol' man .. been going to games for 40 years.

 

One thing that makes it hard to believe is that it happened so fast. Often times teams come close, but don't make it, but come back time and time again, and it finally happens.

 

I thought I'd be happy if the Sox just made it to the Series. Now, I'm greedy and hoping for a repeat.

 

Here's to a great summer.
