Good Comebacks

Featured Replies

Im am so f***ing sick of cub fans coming up to me and saying "Who's 2-4? Who's 4-2?"

Then we obviously respond with "Yeah...whatever...2005 Champs..talk to me when the cubs win a world series..."

But what are some really juicy comebacks you guys know of..What are some great creative ones that would really get under their skin. I thought of this great joke i remembered from a while ago.

"What does a mama bear on birth control and the world series have in common?"

"No Cubs."

I know i shouldnt be caring about teh scrubs and all that, but im so tired of them. They're everywhere and they're impossible to ignore. I wish they would all just shut up for once in a while. :chair

You already mentioned the big one. Just show them some kind of White Sox World Series related merchandise. I personally like asking them what they're planning for the 100 year anniversary of their last World Series title.

You could also point out how dense they are trying to make conclusions based on 3% of the games, or that the Astros beat their ass after starting off 15-30. Or you could go with the typical "simulated games" jokes for Prior and Wood and point out that Sean Marshall, Jerome Williams, and Glendon Rusch are going to have to start pitching a lot more often without all the early days off.

Or you could just wait a couple of weeks until the balance shifts the other way and shove it back in their face.

Out of all the original major league teams that started, everyone has had their turn holding the trophy ahead of the Cubs, which puts them in last place in that category. I'd rather have a bad win/loss record for one week, than the worst record for trophy ownership for the entire century.

1908.

I'm wishing I would have gotten a ring instead of the trophy last week now so I could just wear that to school and hold it up when I hear the Cubs fans. Maybe I should just carry my trophy around.

And make sure to remove the safety before you shoot yourself.
